About the event
Off Script
Presented by Pivot and English Theatre Utrecht
Actors are given a scene and learn their lines, improvisers are given nothing and must make it work. A collaboration between Amsterdam based Comedy Collective Pivot and Utrechts community Theatre group English Theatre Utrecht (ETU) brings an evening of unusual scenes. While an actor from ETU prepared a two person scene, an improviser is paired with them who has no idea how the scene is supposed to go. And therefore, they make it up on the spot. The ETU actor however cannot go off script and will have to perform their next line, no matter what response their scene partner gave them. The results: hilarious chaotic scenes that will be different every time!
